Business Recovery and
Insolvency Practitioners
Our Insolvency Credentials
In 1885, five years after the incorporation
of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of
England and Wales, two of its founder members,
George Poppleton and Charles Appleby joined
together to form an accountancy practice specialising
in insolvency.
Over the ensuing 100 years and
more, our proficiency in the specialist
insolvency field combined with a sensitive,
client-focussed approach has helped us to become
one of the UK's largest independent insolvency
practitioners. We are located in Central
Manchester, with affiliation to other insolvency
offices throughout the country and a comprehensive
network of agents across the UK.
We are structured to handle any insolvency
situation to produce the optimal outcome for
the client.
